Smt.Pratibha Patil : India’s First           woman president  Pratibha Devisingh Patil is an Indian politician who served as the 12th President of India from 2007 to 2012.


Smt.Indira Gandhi :    India’s First Woman Prme Minister and First Bharat Ratna Winner.Indira Priyadarshini  Gandhi , the daughter of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India.

Sarojini Naidu : India’s First Woman  Governor and also first woman president of INC(Indian National Congress) And first woman Chief Minister, serving as the head of the Uttar Pradesh government from 1963 to 1967.Sucheta Kripalani, was an Indian freedom fighter and politician.


Razia Sultan :  【 1205 CE -1240 CE 】India’s First Woman ruler on Delhi throne. Daughter of Allauddin khilji. Raziyya Sultan was removed from the throne in 1240 CE, because people during the age were not comfortable having a queen as a ruler. 


Kiran Bedi : Kiran Bedi is an Indian politician, social activist, retired police officer and tennis player, who was the 24th Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry from 28 May 2016 to 16 February 2021. She is the first Indian female to become an officer in the Indian Police Service and started her service in 1972.


Sucheta Kripalani : India’s First Woman Chief Minister of a state ( Uttar Pradesh)


Rajkumari Amrita Kaur : India's first women Union Minister. 


Annie Besant : India’s First Woman President of INC(Indian National Congress).Annie Besant was a British socialist, theosophist, women's rights activist, writer, educationist, and philanthropist. She was an ardent supporter of both Irish and Indian self-rule.


Meera Sahib Fatima Bibi : India’s First Woman judge of Supreme Court.


Nirja Bhanot :  India’s First Woman flight attendant , who also  got Ashoka Chakra. She died while saving passengers on a flight, had been hijacked by terrorists during a stopover in Karachi, Pakistan, on 5 September 1986, 


Vijayalakshmi Pandi :  India’s First Woman Ambassador at United Nations.


Arati Saha: India’s First Woman to swim across the English Channel.


Mother Teresa : India’s First Woman to received Noble Prize in 1979. She was honoured in the Catholic Church as" Saint Teresa of Calcutta " ,  was an Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary.

Bachendri Pal : She is an Indian mountaineer, who became the first Indian woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest in 1984. She was awarded the third highest civilian award Padma Bhushan by Government of India in 2019.


Miss Reita Faria : India’s first woman to become Miss World.


Sushmitha Sen : India’s First Woman to become Miss Universe.


Ashapurna Devi : First Indian woman to received Jnanpith Award. She was a prominent Indian novelist and poet in Bengali. She has been widely honoured with a number of prizes and awards. 



Durga Banerjee : first Indian Woman airline pilot. She moved on to join Indian Air Lines at the Calcutta base in 1966 and later retired in November, 1988. She has to her credit the most flying hours with 18500 hrs


Kamaljeet Sandhu : first  Indian Woman to won a Gold in Asian Games.


Arundhati Roy :  Arundhati Roy won the prestigious Booker Prize in 1997 for her first novel "The God of Small Things". 


M.S.subbulakshmi : first Indian woman musician to got Bharat Ratna.


Kalpana Chawla :  Kalpana Chawla was born on March 17, 1962, in.  She was the first Indian-American astronaut and first Indian woman in space. She first flew on Space in 1997, as a mission specialist and primary robotic arm operator.


Arati Saha : A long distance swimmer, Arati Saha, who is credited for being the first Asian woman to swim across the English channel in 1959, at the very young age of 19. 


Anandibai Gopalrao Joshi  and Kadambini Ganguly :  were the two first Indian female practitioners of western medicine who passed out in the same year.

Anandibai was the first woman from the erstwhile Bombay presidency and Kadambini Ganguly was the first woman from kolkata Medical College to  study and graduate with a two-year degree in western medicine in the United States.


Sarla Thakral : Sarla Thakral, the first Indian woman to get an aviation pilot licence and fly an aircraft. Thakral received the aircraft when she was just 21 years old. She also has achieved the title of the first Indian to get airmail pilot’s licence.



Karnam Malleswari : The day in 2000, weightlifter Karnam Malleswari became the first Indian woman to win an Olympic Gold medal in the history of the quadrennial event.
